Notes

Someone asked me about this building on Summit Drive last week. This image is from 1994, and is labeled “Old Odell Grade now School District Storage.” The building appears to have the Christian cross symbol built into the masonry, but it has been painted over to look like “+” signs. Can someone fill in the history of the building? What’s the story behind the crosses?

This is right around the corner for the site of one of my favorite images, Allen’s Cash Store.

Always thought it would be a cool brewery/drinking hole for HR, like a McMenimins.

When Mid Valley Elem was a junior high, this was the grade school for the Odell area. My dad attended this school. It’s used for storage now, mostly school furniture and equipment.
