The guy in the back, on the left, looks like Barney Cooper.

If we had zoom capabilities, I would be able to tell if something had defacated in the road or if that was a squirrel’s cache of cones.

Actually, I wondered at first if it was a bear. They seem to like roads. But then I wondered if a horse had preceded them.

I am thinking this is pretty high up out of Parkdale. Could be the old Cooper Spur or Cloud Cap Road…..

The photo must be around 1913?
In the July 17, 1913 HR Glacier:
"….Mrs. Gilbert and Clarence F. Gilbert motored to Trout Lake Sunday. The trip was made in the Herschoff roadster that has been used for more than a year by the Gilbert Implement Co., the rear seats from Harry DeWitt’s Oldsmobile being placed on the car…."
