The photo must be around 1913? In the July 17, 1913 HR Glacier: "….Mrs. Gilbert and Clarence F. Gilbert motored to Trout Lake Sunday. The trip was made in the Herschoff roadster that has been used for more than a year by the Gilbert Implement Co., the rear seats from Harry DeWitt’s Oldsmobile being placed on the car…."

If we had zoom capabilities, I would be able to tell if something had defacated in the road or if that was a squirrel’s cache of cones.

L.E….I guess "who cares" 🙂

Actually, I wondered at first if it was a bear. They seem to like roads. But then I wondered if a horse had preceded them.

I am thinking this is pretty high up out of Parkdale. Could be the old Cooper Spur or Cloud Cap Road…..
