I haven’t been to Mt. Baker Lodge, but I’m guessing it doesn’t look like this during ski season anymore.

From both the Canadian and U.S. sides of the border, the mountain peaks in this area are breathtaking. Multiple snow covered mountains.
My mother in law attended Western Washington College in Bellingham in the 1930’s. One weekend, she was suppose to make a climb up Mt Baker with a group. She was ill and unable to attend. The group was hit by an avalanche and some of her friends died.
