Historic Hood River
Moe Dixon
1-31-2018

Notes
I suspect this will bring back some memories. Here’s Moe Dixon performing, portrait by Michael Hildreth. Based on the rest of the collection I’m going to say circa 1990. Perhaps Moe or someone else can date it more precisely.
Where do you think this is, River City Saloon?

Wonderful shot. Moe at his prime.

Wonderful shot, composition, lighting, and Moe at his prime age wise, but his music has grown even richer with time.
Mary Bartmess Kramer
One of my favorite local entertainers. He was so fun to go and watch.

If anyone can point me to a decent recording of Moe performing "No Wind" I would be eternally grateful…
Spent the summer of ’89 sailing in Hood River and sure do miss those River City Saloon nights. At least I can get Full Sail Ale here in Boston now…

Miss ya Brother. Been a long time. Nothing but great memories. You’re still rockin it! All the Best to you and Trish.

I was remembering the days when Moe played the River City Saloon and it always blew the next day! You wouldn’t think you could sail after all the dancing! But we did!
