Notes

This 1937 Lockheed Electra came for the annual WAAAM Fly-In in September 2013. The “Spirit of TWA” is the oldest flying TWA aircraft. It flew for TWA between 1940 and 1945. For those of you too young to remember, TWA was one of the major US airlines until it merged with American Airlines in 2001.

    Kenn, I checked some of the other photos and it looks like there is a small wheel at the tail.

    It has a wheel at the real but we called it a tail dragger when the tricycle landing gear.became common.
