This image is just titled, “Mrs. John Koberg” with the additional note “Koberg Family.” I am not sure which of these people is Emma Koberg, or which generation of Koberg we are looking at. It’s still a great portrait. I especially like the fact one of the boys has a big old smile, proving it was possible to smile in a photograph– just not fashionable.

She didn’t have that many children herself.

When I was a boy, I lived in an apartment we wanted from Earl and Phoebe Koberg. I wonder if he is in this picture.

Emma Koberg was a daughter of Hans and Lena Lage. Perhaps these are Lage family members.

Note that the gent at far left (our perspective) is triggering the picture. He’s holding a rubber bulb connected to a long hollow line, and the air pressure when he squeezes triggers the camera to fire. He’s probably also the one who rigged up the old fabric behind them to form a backdrop.
