Historic Hood River

Notes

This is one of those images that only raises questions.  It is captioned in fountain pen ink “Wash-out on Mt. Hood Railroad.”  I’m a little skeptical because the background doesn’t look right.  Looking through the crib work there seems to be a building in the distance which isn’t familiar. There are only a few places on the Mt. Hood Railroad where it is on top of a dike like this.  Any ideas where it might be?
