Notes
I’ll confess I know nothing about Masons, but I recognized many of these men from other images we have of them in their everyday lives. According to Wikipedia the Knights Templar are “the final body that a member joins in the York Rite after the chapter of Royal Arch Masons and a council of Royal & Select Masters.” I won’t try to explain that, but we have the following IDs:
Back row (l-r): Oscar Stranahan, William Bailey, J. K. Carson, H. F. Davidson, Dr. F. C. Brosius, G. R. Castner.
Middle row (l-r): ? McGregor, Dixon McDonald, A. D. Moe.
Front Row: ?, ? (Smith from WS Washington?), Ralph Laraway, Dr. H. L. Dumble.
I think images like this help us understand the social structure in the community. This organization was a connection between these men we have seen separately before.

I wonder if there was a special occasion for all these gents to be wearing a (red?) carnation boutonniere in their suit lapel?
Definitely not a white carnation that would signify whose mothers have passed away.

The setting is a photo studio. That’s classic backdrop. I think we’ve seen several like this from W.D. Rogers, but they all look very similar. As for year, I think roughly 1900-1905 based on the age of the men.
