Here’s Hood River’s marching band. We know that Punch Isenberg is 2nd from the right, Robert “Bert” Kent is on the end, and Frank & Jess Puddy are somewhere in there.

I think Jesse Puddy and his brother are the two that are just below the line of rocks there. I think that is Jesse on the left and Frank on the right.

I am assuming this photo is somewhere around 1920. I can’t remember when Arthur told us the streets were paved.
Hood River had electricity by then, but had Alva Day sold any electric washing machines?
Because, I can’t imagine washing those white pants on a scrub board.

Downtown streets were paved around 1915. Not sure where this is– feels like State or Oak to me, but I don’t recognize the houses.

I take it back. The houses seem too close to the street for Oak or State.

I believe this is right down the street from Park St School. So it would be north of the school but looking south and I think I can see the Park St School through the trees on the upper right of this pix.

Pam, I looked carefully at pictures of the Park Street school but these windows don’t match. Still a mystery to me.
