Panoramas

Notes
I always grumble when I have to process a panorama photograph because they require so much extra care. They’re frequently rolled tightly so I need to coax them flat, which can take weeks, and then they don’t fit on the bed of the scanner so I have to scan them in sections. But on the flip side, they are always taken by professionals with a quality camera, so there is good detail to be studied.
This panel from a panorama shows a band of musicians dressed in Knights of Pythias regalia. Another panel indicates this image was taken in Pasadena California. Some of the shirts say “Portland Oregon” so this may be a regional band traveling to California for a convention.
I was scratching my head about the “DOKK” on the drum, but apparently these men were members of the “Dramatic Order Knights of Khorassan,” known as “Dokeys”.

I would have guessed these guys were part of the Shriner’s.

Classic! Any guess on the building or address? I see wolff’s in the storefront it appears to be a reflection from across the street. Thanks for taking the time to layout the panoramics. The opportunity to see details beyond the intended subject matter is a treat.
