I didn’t know if we would get a (an) HHR photo today.
Yes, this one would work every year.
We had a big tom turkey and two hens for a short while. You never knew when Mr. Tom would decide to attack you. His head would turn blue, he would ruffle out his feathers, like these guys, and go on the attack. My husband would laugh at the kids and me for being afraid of him.
Then one day Mr. Tom came after him.
The next day we had a very tough roasted turkey.

Abused my petite little belly yesterday and looking forward to doing it again on leftovers today.

Took a newbie resident to the Senior Center Turkey dinner and I have to say it was the tastiest ever. And mostly all volunteers to cook and deliver. Awesome people, awesome place, and lots of table talk catching up with "are you kin to…" and such. Consider it for next year, and take a senior citizen.
