Historic Hood River

Notes

This is one of the last “Hood River Ski Club” images in our collection, dated “1928”.  The photographer was paying attention to the costumed subjects in the foreground, but much of the crowd is looking to something going on to the left of camera.  The ski slope was somewhere near the Cooper Spur/ Homestead Inn area.  The name “H. L. Davis” is written on the reverse, though it’s not clear if that was the photographer, the subject, or the owner of the print.
