Notes
This image of children in a Wyeast School play is captioned “1960/ Hood River Pioneer Society Fourth Generation descendants of pioneers/ Wyeast School play.” We’ve seen pictures of gatherings of their great-grandparents like this one.

The Grange movement was a unique movement that organized local communities for social as well as political actions. Interesting history of the movement
and their activities during the early 1900’s. I think the Parkdale Grange still has a ‘first Sunday’ breakfast for locals. And their special occasion dinners are known for their 10 or 15 kinds of pies. Seconds allowed.
