Weren’t fan dancers a bit risque’? I remember my mom telling me that her gymnastics teacher had been a fan dancer and some of the family was not pleased about that.

Sex sells. But look at the progress we have made. We used to have "risque" fan dancers, but now we have dancers with wardrobe malfunctions that is watched by tens of millions on television.

With Koberg Beach gone we do not have any other equivalent draw for the whole community except maybe the August Families in the Park which is jam packed with people. Or is going to the beach no longer a thing with all our TV and electronics?

Hey now …. What’s the picture of on the front of the postcard ? ……

You can tell by the comments that (I guess ) we are old & not into fun anymore. LOL

Front of the card is a sketch of the Koberg beach and pavilion. I thought this side was more interesting/ exotic.

Either Ms. Devoe was not very good or that wasn’t her real name. Google can’t find her.

What year is this? All your comments and remarks are very funny! Especially yours, Judy.

The sketch on the front looks like it’s from a Percy Manser at the museum– my least favorite– it’s an oddly distorted view. My best guess is 1930s.
