Arline Moore’s tiny photo album keeps providing more history. This page shows the “East Hood River Club” circa 1917. I believe “East Hood River” refers to the portion of the city east of Front Street. Arline Moore is in the front row at #11, with Barbara Moore in her lap at #10. We think she prepared this album 20 or 30 years later than this date, so it’s not surprising there are several names she couldn’t fill in. Can anyone offer a guess which house is in the background?

I think that we have seen that house in other entries. Barbara Moore married Myron Weygandt; I knew their daughter Gail (from Camp Yallani, of course, where town kids met county kids.)

I bet Bill Pattison could tell us where that house was located. I agree with Cecelia. I think we have seen it before. There is also an interesting house behind the ladies.
Where would they be standing that you would see that dry hill in the background?
