Green Point (Kingsley) was originally a mill pond for the Stanley Smith Lumber Company, but the dam was reconstructed several times (including last year) to increase storage. This photograph from the 1930s shows a Model A Ford on the dam while it is under construction. We’re looking toward the site where Camp Yallani would later be constructed.

I guess I don’t know what year Camp Yallani started"¦ I know my Mom worked as a counselor when she was a teenager-she graduated from Parkdale High School in 1945"¦.
Across the dam and off to the right, in the trees, is where the cabins were built.
