Notes
These men are cutting the trail around the northwest corner of the library. You can see the E.L. Smith house at the top of the image. We saw another view of this construction project here. Georgiana Smith’s children donated land for a public park dedicated in her honor in 1935, but I suspect this image is from the era of the initial library construction in 1913.
The trees have certainly grown a bit in the past 110 years.
