These are sisters Cora and Mattie Mayes, circa 1900.  We know they performed in plays together, and Mattie married Clyde Bonney.  Bonney worked as a butcher and owned a market, Reciprocity Corner.  Cora and Mattie’s brother Edward Mayes owned a meat market— perhaps he and Bonney worked together before Reciprocity Corner?
