We have so many images of Cloud Cap Inn, but it’s always special to see how a professional approaches it. This Bill Bryan image is dated April 3, 1964. [Ed. Note: Based on other images from the same date we can verify this image is a cabin at Bull Run Lake, not Cloud Cap Inn.]

Back when we had snow… sigh. This isn’t from Cloud Cap. It’s the wrong side of the mountain.

Ah, thanks JKG. Fortunately we have a date, and I can cross reference with other Bill Bryan images from the same date. They show the “Bull Run cabins.” We have several views of this cabin from other angles, which verify it is not Cloud Cap. It’s always frustrating when the images bear incorrect captions.

I didn’t pay any attention to the big fir there… and the angle of the view -that tells me it isn’t CC.
Just love seeing so much snow
