Historic Hood River
Build or Buy?

Notes
This display in the power company window on Oak Street shows two financial models for providing street lights to Hood River. I’m not sure which model they went with, but the analysis is the same sort we would do today. Was there a Powerpoint version?

The analysis is complete and very easy to understand with the graphical presentation. More than sufficient to make an informed decision. One sheet of paper, probably supported by a few days of data gathering and crunching. Today, an armada would take months to create a hundred page report and EIS… including the PowerPoint, with a cost approaching that of the project. And much harder to understand.

But the printing is wonderful . . all by hand I assume.
