This is Bob Reilly and hos dog at his homestead cabin above the site of Laurance Lake, circa 1914.
Laurance Lake is a reservoir for the Middle Fork Irrigation District. I believe the dam forming it was constructed about 1970. Does anyone have the exact date?
Check out the length of those skis.

According to MFID website: The dam was constructed in 1968 with the purpose to provide irrigation to 8,400 acres in the Upper Hood River Valley.

This is my Grandfather. I am searching for the exact location of this homestead as all of his children have passed and we have lost record of the tax lot.

The Bureau of Land Management website https://glorecords.blm.gov/default.aspx lists homesteads and is searchable. I do not see an entry for any Reilly’s in Hood River county.
