Rodger Nichols sent this image to me a while ago. The title is “Bob and Crew” which presumably refers to his brother, Bob Nichols, who ran the operation from 1985 until 1998. Do you recognize any of the people in this group?

Bob Nichols is in the center, open black jacket, white shirt.
Bob was a year behind me in school- in my brother Eric’s class.(76)
I believe he took over the operation from his Dad. His Grandfather started it.
He unfortunately left this world way too early…10 years ago this month-
A heart attack while shoveling snow for a neighbor.

“The Sternwheeler “Columbia Gorge” was built by the Nichols Boat Works of Hood River, Oregon and launched on the Columbia River in 1983.”
In case someone is not familiar with what our local Columbia River paddler looks like.
