The Hood River News‘ “unknown” box included a set of five professional images presumably of Blossom Fest participants, circa 1957. Unfortunately we don’t have the names of any of the women, but I’ll bet we could find something in the 1957 Blossom Festival issue. In any case, this is a good image to get in the mood for spring blossoms.

The flowers and the lady are beautiful.
Scrunching in amongst those branches, without knocking off the blossoms was probably not an easy task.

That is a gorgeous picture. There’s just something about black and white photography that makes it special. I hope whoever she is has a copy of her own or sees this posting.
