Notes

In February 2008 all sorts of heavy equipment showed up on the Hood River Waterfront to construct Phase 1 of the new Hood River Waterfront Park. The first order of business was to remove the rock rip rap which defined the edge of the Columbia at the soon-to-be swim beach. All that rock was crushed into gravel, which I believe was used in the Oak Street urban renewal project which was happening at the same time. For once, no one seemed to mind the dirt and noise of construction.

Track Hoes are amazing…..,remember before they were around, all the tractor backhoes. Ya don't see those as much anymore. (Except for the small jobs).
