Identifying this view turned out to be easy. I can read the name “Cabrillo” on the ship, and a search of Wikipedia for the SS Cabrillo yielded almost this exact view of the ship docked at Avalon on Catalina Island of the Southern California coast.

So I assume this is an original picture taken by Laraway himself. If so, then we now know the Laraway’s traveled to Southern California, presumably sometime between 1900 and 1910?

This Image was most likely taken between 1904 and 1907. definitely not as late as 1910 due to the fact that a partition had been added to the Ship sometime before. 1910.
