This clears up a confusion I’ve had for a while. This is August Bosse, who you could be forgiven for confusing with August Guignard. They were partners in the Ideal Fruit and Nursery Company, and August Bosse was August Guignard’s son-in-law. They are definitely not the same person!
Now can someone explain to me why this image was filed under portraits of people whose names begin with “T”?
