Notes
That’s Horatio Davidson examining the aqueduct which carried water from the first hydroelectric dam on the Hood River to the powerhouse. Davidson provided the wood for the pipeline. You can see the powerhouse through the woods.
This facility predated Powerdale by about 20 years.

There was a bad flood and windstorm in November of 1906.
