Sorry to see all the work they are putting into this as I think that house was located at 2nd and Prospect and that is not the house I grew up seeing. This house must have been torn down.

By the size of the rhubarb, it must be late spring.
Was the home damaged by a fire, or are the firemen just being good samaritans and sprucing up an elderly person’s home?
The roof looks like it was burned to a crisp, but I can’t tell for sure.
So much in this photo that would not pass any kind of inspection or safety rule today.
