Notes
These dapper gentlemen are standing on the front steps of the Hotel Oregon at 2nd and Cascade. Their names are a bit murky. All we have is “Jim Ingalls, Marshall Dano?, ?”
A 1916 newspaper article has Mr Ingalls as a “local garage man.”
The hotel building has recently been sold, and I understand new owners are planning a major restoration.

I see he married Gertrude Balch, sister of Frederic Homer Balch.
There was a Marshall Dana, a Portland newspaper man. He married Martha Ferguson McKeown Dana, well known local author.
