This is another image saved by digital technology. The original is so faded I didn’t think it worth sharing, but a few tweaks and it’s not half bad. A very faint note on the back says something like, “F F Shepler on horse.” It has the name Alf Shepler, so may have been from his collection.

REMEMBER USS LIBERTY!!! Reminds me that I worked for two summers
with CBK Lumber on a logging show near Mosier. It was a relatively green operation since the mill only rough cut the trees so all branches and sawdust were left at the mill site; we moved the mill to the next stand of timber.
