Herman Kresse and His Studebaker

We first saw Herman Kresse with this fine automobile 14 years ago. This angle helps confirm the car is a Studebaker (1920 model EH is the best guess).
Kresse was the owner of Kresse Drug Store at the time. In the 1930s he was mayor of the city of Hood River. This glass plate was found in the basement of Keir Drug store in 1975.
The mailbox says “Thomas Flagler.” In 2012 Bill Pattison told us the Flagler home was east of 22nd street on south side of Belmont.
