Historic Hood River

The folks in this W. F. Laraway negative seem to be enjoying a little fiddling at the end of the day.  That house looks surprisingly modern in design.  It appears covered in heavy vines.  My best guess is it is a hops vine.  It also looks like there are some tall apple or pear trees behind the house.  You can see lots of shoots climbing above the roof line.
