Historic Hood River
“Somehow We Crossed Paths”

Notes
Here’s a fun one from the in-basket. In 2002 a Keizer Oregon man wrote to the Chamber of Commerce:
I remember going to Hood River to pick fruit. It was the Fall of 1936. I was 18 years old in July.
I don’t know how old the girls are in the photo. Somehow we crossed paths. One of the girls gave me the picture. I have had it a long time.
Someone could be very pleased if they knew or are related to either. Perhaps someone at the Chamber will know what to do! It appears to me there are two options: send it to the newspaper, or Waste paper basket.
In the event that someone receives some enjoyment I would be pleased to hear.
It seems there was a third option– put it in the Chamber files for 22 years, where it worked its way to the in basket at the Photo Cave, so you can now enjoy it. Does anyone recognize these women?
