Historic Hood River
“The Imp Inn”
4-8-2024

Notes
These gents seem to be enjoying a camping trip in the woods, though I wouldn’t say they are roughing it. It looks like they have enough large canvas tents for everyone to have their own. They have a flag to mark their territory, a Victrola set up to crank the tunes, and while I don’t see direct evidence other images in this album (George Thomson family) would suggest there was some pre-prohibition era alcohol onsite.
As we’ve seen a couple of times before they have named their campsite. “The Imp Inn” sign lists Shorty, Scoop, Boob and Dutch, who I’ll guess are the four lined up under the sign.
Circa 1912.
