This image is labeled “Old Crapper School.”  It’s interesting to see two additions to the building from the “as built” view of 1893.  They’ve added a vestibule for the kids to take off their boots, and an entire classroom off the side.

This wood frame schoolhouse was replace about 1913 by a more modern building which was used as a school until 1969, then converted to a private home.  You can read about the more modern schoolhouse in its National Register nomination form.  I was surprised to learn it was designed by famous Portland architect Albert Sutton.
