Notes

I didn’t recognize this building despite the fact I eat there every week. It is 1302 13th Street, now the Thai House restaurant (1995 photo). I remember “Big City Chicks” at this location, as well as a Cajun restaurant and a pizza place for a short time. Can you fill in some of the history of this building?

Elaine Woolston told of roller skating in the concrete-floor basement on rainy days when she was young, with the twin girls her age who lived there.

    Also, I've heard it's haunted.

Cajun place was called “The Big Easy.”

There was another short-lived place between that and Thai House, forget the name. It aspired to be high-end but was unremarkable.

The first restaurant I remember was called “Peter B’s”. I used to know the people who lived there when it was their home. If my memory returns, I’ll let yah know! 😂 My friend who might have some info is out of the country right now, she was involved with “Peter “B’s”.
